ODYSSEY Battery To Present Check To The 2014 Red Bull Global Rallycross Extreme ODYSSEY Performer Award Winner

A representative from ODYSSEY battery will present the bonus check to the winner during the post-race trophy presentation on Nov 5.

READING, Pa. — ODYSSEY battery by EnerSys, an official battery of Red Bull Global Rallycross (Red Bull GRC), has announced that it will present a bonus check to the winner of the 2014 Extreme ODYSSEY Performer Award following the final circuit event of the season in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Nov. 5.

The big reward is the final part of a contingency award program developed earlier this year, in which the top three finishing drivers at each race who meet eligibility requirements receive a cash bonus and points award. The driver with the most points at the end of the season receives an additional bonus. A representative from ODYSSEY battery will present the bonus check to the winner during the post-race trophy presentation on Nov 5.

“It has been a great year as a sponsor of Red Bull GRC and we are pleased to take part in the contingency award program,” said Dave McMullen, director of commercial marketing for specialty and UPS markets at EnerSys. “The partnership has provided great exposure for the ODYSSEY battery brand and we are looking forward to giving out the big check to the winner after the final race of the season.”
