SHANGHAI – For the fourth consecutive year, Johnson Controls has been honored as a “Top Employer” in China by the Top Employers Institute, which certifies excellence in conditions companies create for their employees. Johnson Controls is one of only 50 companies selected as a “Top Employer” in China for 2015.

In its independent research assessment, the Top Employers Institute noted exceptional employee conditions, culture, learning and development spanning all levels of the organization, and a commitment to continuously improving employment practices at Johnson Controls.

“We are proud to again be named a Top Employer because China is our most important market for growth in the next several decades and our strength lies in part due to the contributions of our nearly 30,000 employees,” said Beda Bolzenius, vice chairman, Asia Pacific, Johnson Controls.

Johnson Controls recently started construction on a second global headquarters to be located in Shanghai, which will open in 2017.
