TORRANCE, Calif. — Clark Limbacher has joined AISIN World Corp of America as the company’s manager of product development.

He will be responsible for all product development in North America and Latin America. Limbacher’s extensive experience spans over a 41-year career in the automotive industry.

He started on the counter for large domestic independent jobbers (two-steppers) in 1974, then moved on to manage an import part specialist store owned by Smothers Parts International from 1979 to 1981. In 1981, Limbacher went to work for Lazorlite (which later became Import Parts America) and quickly moved up the ranks to senior product manager.

His many responsibilities included purchasing, cataloging, both electronic and print. In 1994, with two partners, Clark founded A.L.O. Sales and Marketing. This was a small distribution company for CV Boot Kits.

In June of 2007 Clark moved to Atlanta and assumed the position of product manager, imports at NAPA headquarters. There, he worked closely with the Altrom Product Management teams and was instrumental in the early developmental stages designing the tools that would permit the catalog editors to edit part applications for the NAPA Catalog.
