GASTONIA, N.C. — WIX Filters, a global manufacturer of filtration products, has announced a new structure to it national sales team designed to better position the company to meet its strategic and sales goals.

“When a company innovates and grows, it has to make sure its internal structure is keeping up with those advancements,” said Jeff Blocher, vice president of sales for WIX Filters. “In the midst of our 75th year, we’ve been evaluating our day-to-day business operations to ensure we have the right team in place to meet and exceed our business and sales goals.”

Mike Harvey, former WIX brand manager, has been named national sales manager. Harvey began his career at WIX/Affinia as a territory manager in Texas. In 1994, he joined the CARQUEST Filters team as a district sales manager with responsibilities for the Chicago market. Harvey was then promoted in 2003 to western division regional manager for the CARQUEST Filters brand. He is a graduate of Miami University and holds the Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) designation from Northwood University. He is also currently a member of the Automotive Communications Council’s (ACC) Board of Governors.

“Mike has been with WIX for almost 25 years and has extensive knowledge and expertise in sales and branding,” Blocher said. “His personality and insight belong in the field, making him the best person to lead our sales team to great success.”

In addition, WIX has added Jay Anderson as national trainer and reorganized its sales team by region, each led by a business development manager. The new leadership and geographic structures are:

  • Tom Wilkinson – Business Development Manager, South Central
  • Bill Meyer – Business Development Manager, West
  • John Rozegnal – Business Development Manager, Midwest
  • Dan Rauso – Business Development Manager, Northeast
  • Bryan Watson – Business Development Manager, Southeast

The business development managers have more than 75 years of sales experience, with a majority of that time spent at WIX/Affinia. Each manager is an exceptional leader for his region and will foster existing partner and customer relationships, seek out new opportunities and be an instrumental part of growing WIX’s business.
