GASTONIA, N.C. — With an eye on global growth and innovation, WIX Filters, a global manufacturer of filtration products, has named Jennifer Gibson as brand manager.

“This is an exciting time for the WIX brand. We’re positioning ourselves for future success and doing so with an extraordinary marketing and sales team,” said Jeff Blocher, vice president of sales for WIX Filters. “Jennifer has incredible passion for the WIX brand and was a natural choice for where we see the brand heading in 2015 and beyond.”

Gibson previously served as brand manager for CARQUEST Filters, a brand WIX serviced for 25 years. During her five-year tenure on the CARQUEST brand, she managed the development and implementation of strategic marketing programs designed to drive brand awareness and sales revenue.

Among her accomplishments, Gibson successfully implemented a marketing promotion that resulted in monthly double digit increases for the CARQUEST brand during its execution. She also served as special projects manager for WIX’s filtration division and supervised the introduction of a new product line that resulted in 53 SKUs.

“Jennifer has a diverse mix of branding and marketing experience that will serve the WIX brand well,” Blocher said. “We are excited to see what she will accomplish in her new position.”

Gibson received her bachelor’s degree in motorsports management, the first program of its kind, from Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, N.C. She is currently a member of the Women’s Car Care Association as well as the Automotive Communication Council.
