GLENDALE, Ariz. – More than 120 Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper winners in the Big Game Tailgate Party Sweepstakes converged in Phoenix over the weekend as the festivities of the promotion unfurled. The group made up of personnel from service centers, jobber stores and shareholder operations enjoyed a weekend jam-packed with the football frenzy associated with the Big Game.

On Friday, the group assembled for a reception and dinner that concluded with the attending service centers selecting spaces on a 100-square box as used in a classic office football pool. Those selections represented entries for the full-sized pickup truck of their choice to be given away at the culmination of the Big Game Tailgate Party. Games and activities throughout the weekend enabled attendees to earn additional chances to win the truck.

On Saturday, the attendees participated in a variety of entertainment opportunities suiting their personal preferences, including attending events sponsored by pro football and broadcast networks surrounding the Big Game, casinos, PGA Phoenix Open, shopping and sightseeing. The weekend culminated with the Big Game Tailgate Party on Sunday.

The group assembled at the Desert Mirage Golf Club just a half-mile from the University of Phoenix stadium site of the Big Game for a private tailgate party. Festivities included golf, football celebrity appearances, golf trick shot demonstrations, a bean-bag cornhole competition and plenty of food and drink. Following the game the group returned for a postgame party where the numbers were drawn to complete the 100-square box and determine the winner of the grand prize.

Stephanie Wendler, of Jim’s Automotive in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, a customer of Alliance shareholder Maslack Supply, matched the numbers of the final score on the Big Game Tailgate Sweepstakes game board. Jim’s Automotive has been an Auto Value Certified Service Center for more than 12 years. Stephanie’s reward is the 2015 full-sized pickup truck of her choice.

Stephanie said, “This is unbelievable. Not only did I get to see the Super Bowl, I won a truck.” When asked what her truck preference was, she said, “My entire family and I have been GM people since we started the family business 46 years ago. I’m getting a Chevrolet Silverado.”
