Robert Bosch LLC has just introduced its new InSight Wiper Blade, a premium hybrid beam blade based on Bosch patented beam technology. Bosch InSight provides maximum wiping performance in all driving conditions, the company says.

“The Bosch InSight premium hybrid design is unique in the market,” said Martin Kashnowski, director, product management, Wiper Systems, Robert Bosch LLC Automotive Aftermarket NA. “For consumers who prefer a hybrid blade, Bosch InSight brings the additional advantages of Bosch patented beam blade technology to the conventional hybrid design.”

According to Bosch, the enclosed hybrid construction of Bosch InSight minimizes gaps to reduce snow and ice buildup. It is based on Bosch beam technology, utilizing a graphite-coated natural rubber wiping edge with patented internal tension spring, versus the conventional style claws of other hybrid blades. The tension spring is precisely contoured to the windshield providing consistent pressure along the entire length of the blade for improved and reliable wiping performance and a longer service life, the company says. Additionally, a robust integrated spoiler makes for a consistently clear wipe even when the vehicle is being driven at a high speed, Bosch says.

The Bosch InSight program is comprised of 12 part numbers providing 91 percent coverage of hook and pin applications for domestic, Asian and European vehicles. Available lengths include 13- to 22-inch, and 24-, 26- and 28-inch blades.
