In view of the current political situation in the Ukraine, the premiere of Automechanika Kiev planned for June 9-11, 2015, has been canceled.

Automechanika Brand Manager Michael Johannes, explains: “We have now made two attempts to enable our customers from the automotive aftermarket to do business in the Ukraine. Nevertheless, given the situation prevailing there at present, it is impossible to hold the fair at this time.”

The plans for the new Automechanika called for it to have been organized by Independent Expo Ukraine, the partner of Independent Expo Automotive BV from the Netherlands and official licensee of Automechanika Kiev.

Berco Stukje, managing director, Independent Expo Automotive BV, added: “We are very sorry to have to remove Automechanika Kiev, which should have opened its doors in four months, from the program. However, the interests of the exhibitors are of paramount importance to both Messe Frankfurt and Independent Expo.”
