Automotive Parts Associates Announces 2015 Vendor Awards

APA’s Annual Shareholder and Manufacturer Conference is held each year at different venues across the United States.

LOS ANGELES – At Automotive Parts Associates’ (APA) 34th Annual Conference this week, the group’s 2015 vendor award recipients were announced.

The Headquarters Manufacturer of Choice Award was given to AISIN. This award recognizes AISIN for having the fastest turnaround time from application of parts to product availability, ease of doing business and responsiveness to member and APA headquarters needs.

Federal-Mogul received the Marketing Partner Award for the second year in a row. According to APA, Federal-Mogul continually supports and sponsors APA promotions, and also was recognized for its national ad campaigns, seasonal promotions and strong technical training programs.

APA Shareholders awarded The Professionals’ Choice Vendor of the Year to PTC for its excellent fill rate, outstanding cataloging, new numbers, ease of doing business and the company’s long-term commitment to APA.

The Branded Manufacturer of the Year went to BBB Industries. BBB was recognized for consistently being first-to-market with new model year parts, quick turnaround time and high fill rates on replenishment orders, new product categories and superior cataloging.

UCI-FRAM Group was recognized for its success at last year’s APA Annual Shareholder Meeting, receiving the “Largest Total Manufacturers Orders at the 2014 One-on-Ones.”

Two new awards were presented this year. The Cornerstone Award went to Bosch. This award acknowledges Bosch for being instrumental in the growth and success of APA. The Distinguished OE Partner award was presented to Denso; a manufacturer that is an industry leader in the automotive aftermarket that has successfully brought its OE products into the automotive aftermarket and provided APA with the highest-quality products.

APA recognized shareholder S & J Industries for its longevity and dedication to the aftermarket and the APA group. In 2014, the company celebrated 30 years of business in North Hollywood, Calif.

We look forward to the continued growth with our vendor partners” said Gary Martin, president and CEO of APA.
