GASTONIA, N.C. – WIX Filters announced it is attending this week’s Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville, Ky. Members of WIX’s sales team will be participating in the March 26-28 show at booth no. 66164 in the West Wing of the Kentucky Exposition Center.

“WIX has a deep understanding of the over-the-road market, and MATS is a great opportunity to reconnect with our longstanding heavy-duty partners and meet with new industry contacts,” said Jeff Blocher, vice president of sales and marketing at WIX Filters. “This show is the perfect platform to share how our latest products and innovations are positively affecting this industry.”

Founded in 1972, MATS is the largest annual heavy-duty trucking industry event in the world. Held each year at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, the show attracts more than 70,000 attendees and more than 1,000 exhibitors from throughout the United States and abroad. Attendees are able to efficiently research the latest products and services for their businesses and easily connect with the industry to stay informed on important equipment, regulatory and technological changes.

Preceding MATS is the Fleet Forum, a WIX-sponsored, one-day conference for fleet executives and heavy-duty/commercial industry VIPs. The forum combines the resources and expertise of two trucking publications and MATS to provide an in-depth look at the future of equipment and trucking.

“Being a part of Fleet Forum and MATS really expands our reach in the heavy-duty marketplace,” said Jennifer Gibson, brand manager for WIX Filters. “The conversations and interactions with industry thought-leaders will further reinforce WIX’s position as a leader in this space.”

Fleet Forum takes place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25 in the South Wing Conference Room, C203.
