NCMA Recognizes The Best Examples Of Automotive Cataloging

Volunteer judges evaluated more than 60 submissions against established criteria.

BETHESDA, Md. — Awards recognizing the best examples of paper catalog, web catalog and mobile catalog applications were presented at the recent conference of the National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA) Knowledge Exchange in Orlando, Fla. Volunteer judges evaluated more than 60 submissions against established criteria. The gold level winners of the 2015 NCMA President’s Award for Catalog Excellence were:

  • WAIglobal for their WPS Ignition Distributors & Crank Angle Sensors;
  • K&N Engineering, Inc for http://www.knfilters.com/; and
  • Federal-Mogul Motorparts for their SmartChoice Mobile App.

The NCMA Knowledge Exchange offers leading data receivers the opportunity to recognize a single supplier as the best example of electronic management and distribution practices in electronic catalog and product information. The 2015 best-in-class winners of the NCMA President’s Award for Electronic Data Excellence were:

  • CARDONE Industries, presented by Advance Auto Parts;
  • Dorman Products, presented by AutoZone;
  • Spectra Premium Industries, presented by Epicor;
  • FP Diesel by Federal-Mogul, presented by NAPA;
  • Tenneco Inc., presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts;
  • Walker Exhaust, presented by US Auto Parts;
  • Baldwin/Hastings Filters, presented by WHI Solutions; and
  • Gates Corp., presented by MAM.
