AUSTIN, Texas — FRAM announced plans for fans attending X Games Austin, on June 4-7, 2015. During the days of the competition at Circuit of The Americas (COTA), FRAM will host autograph signings with Team FRAM athletes, and UFC fighters, Johny “Bigg Rigg” Hendricks and Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, in addition to X Games competitors Lance Coury, Sheldon Creed, Mitchell DeJong, Brandon Dosch, Colton Haaker, Jarryd McNeil, and Cam Sinclair. Fans will have the chance to compete to win daily prizes in head-to-head digital games and emcee-led promotions at the FRAM sponsor tent.

FRAM’s consumer activation is near the Grand Plaza Entrance at COTA in the Galleria. X Games fans can expect a full weekend: more than 200 athletes competing for X Games medals and prize money in BMX, Moto X, Truck X, Skateboard, Rally and – new this year – Skateboard/BMX Big Air Doubles, Harley-Davidson Flat Track racing and Moto X QuarterPipe. X Games Austin will also include entertainment and music from world-renowned artists including Grammy-nominated hip-hop superstar Nicki Minaj and legendary rock band Metallica.

“We’re excited about the opportunities we’re bringing to fans in our second year at X Games Austin,” said Rich Fleming, vice president of sales and marketing for FRAM Filtration. “Just like our FRAM filters get a job done right, we’ve set a great lineup of athlete appearances and contests, so all those in attendance can do X Games right.”

In addition to athlete autograph signings and daily touch-screen gaming contests, FRAM will customize a photo backdrop for fans to easily snap and upload their X Games Austin photos to social media. Each time a user uploads a photo from the FRAM booth using the hashtag #doitright, they will have the opportunity to spin a wheel to win prizes from FRAM including Team FRAM athlete-autographed memorabilia, sunglasses, Apple gift cards, fuel gift cards and more.

The FRAM experience at X Games Austin will also feature entertaining DIY automotive tips, information about the importance and ease of regular filter maintenance and #doitright videos featuring Team FRAM athletes Hendricks and Cerrone and Joe Gibbs Racing Motocross riders Justin Barcia and Weston Peick.
