ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has expanded its full line of world-class VDO HVAC motors with exclusive offerings for blower motors and blower wheels.

The new additions feature the latest HVAC motor models available for popular applications. Notable application coverage includes 2011-2014 Toyota Sienna/Sequoia, 2014-2015 Cadillac ATS/CTS and 2012-2015 Nissan Versa, as well as many other vehicle makes.

According to Rick Wagner, VDO electric motor product manager, “These new applications come from sound field research at the shop level to determine the needs of our professional technician customers. As a result, we were able to establish which HVAC motors are in demand and hard to get, and added them to our offering.”

All VDO motors incorporate the exact electrical connectors required by the specific vehicle application. No flying leads or wire splicing is required. VDO mounting flanges and ventilation tubes are in the same position and configuration as the factory units, the company says.

Wagner notes, “Our VDO line is built on many years of proven experience and the ability to produce HVAC motors that deliver smooth, quiet and long-lasting operation. We do not use universal application motors nor take any other short cuts that can compromise service life. Our motors are designed to meet the specific performance and cooling requirements of the vehicle.”
