Southeast Asian Automotive Aftermarket Networking Event Held In Anticipation Of AAITF Bangkok 2015

The event brought together the leading industry manufacturers and distributors of automotive aftermarket products, all of which were members of Thai-European Business Association, to discuss the ASEAN Automotive Aftermarket and to preview AAITF Bangkok 2015 (Automotive Aftermarket Industry Trade Fair).

BANGKOK — Inter-Media Consultant, organizers of the Thailand International Motor Expo and Tarsus Group, organizers of AAITF Bangkok 2015, and the Thai-European Business Association (TEBA) successfully hosted a SE Asian Automotive Aftermarket Networking Event on Aug. 10 in Bangkok. The event brought together the leading industry manufacturers and distributors of automotive aftermarket products, all of which were members of Thai-European Business Association, to discuss the ASEAN Automotive Aftermarket and to preview AAITF Bangkok 2015 (Automotive Aftermarket Industry Trade Fair).

More than double the expected attendees were present.

Uli Kaiser, president of Thai European Business Association, discussed “ASEAN Automotive Roadmap 2020” which covered the most up-to-date automotive industry statistics, innovations and future trends.

Michael Hodge of Tarsus Group Ltd, the Project Manager of AAITF Bangkok, presented the Tarsus Group Ltd company profile, past exhibitions, as well as the biggest, most successful and longest-running AAITF event which annually takes place in Shenzhen, South China. The Shenzhen event, now going into its 12th year, sees more than 3,500 exhibitors across 10 world class halls, more than 187,000 trade buyers and a combined spend of $32 billion. He also gave an overview of the lucrative SE Asian automotive aftermarket market, including expected growth, and the five-year plan for AAITF Bangkok.

Chalatchai Paphatphong, vice president of Inter-Media Consultant, discussed his company profile, the various media channels available and “Thailand International Motor Expo 2015” as the concurrent event of AAITF Bangkok 2015.

The inaugural automotive aftermarket AAITF Bangkok 2015 event will take place Dec. 9-11, 2015, at the IMPACT Forum, Bangkok alongside the Thai International Motor Expo.
