Automotive Leaders To Examine Young Professionals’ Impact On Industry’s Future At Northwood Auto Show

Show hours are Friday, Oct. 2, noon to 6 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 3, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 4, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The show is open to the public with free admission and parking.

MIDLAND, Mich. – As a highlight of the 52nd Northwood University International Auto Show (NUIAS), Jared Rowe, president of Cox Automotive Media Division, will provide the keynote address during a VIP panel on Oct. 2 at the Midland, Michigan-based specialty business university.

During the panel discussion, Rowe and other leading experts will examine the automotive industry’s future as it directly relates to young people and their futures within the industry. Other panelists include Anthony Pordon, executive vice president of Penske Automotive Group; Ken Lingenfelter, CEO of Lingenfelter Performance; and Larry Richardson, president of Richardson Chevrolet and Buick and Richardson Ford.

The free VIP panel is open to the public. It kicks off Friday at 10 a.m. in Griswold Lecture Hall on Northwood’s campus, 4000 Whiting Drive in Midland. The panel is one of many activities during the 52nd annual Northwood University Auto Show, which runs Oct. 2-4 on the campus grounds.

In addition to the VIP panel, this year’s show features 500 new domestic and imported cars, trucks, recreational vehicles, vans, experimental and specialty vehicles. The show offers an extensive aftermarket exhibit and, on Sunday, visitors will enjoy a Classic Car Show.
