ALLENTOWN, Pa. —  Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has expanded its VDO REDI-Sensor Program with the addition of its VDO REDI-Sensor Multi-Application Rubber Snap-in Sensor, P/N SE10001HPR.

Continental Head of Product Management, TPMS & Electronics Innovation, Steve Landis, noted, “Just like the original metal clamp-in REDI-Sensor (SE10001HP), our new rubber snap-in stem version is ready to install right out of the box and pre-programmed to fit popular domestic and Asian vehicles. REDI-Sensor is designed to follow OE vehicle relearn procedures. No additional sensor programming or cloning steps are required.”

The VDO REDI-Sensor Program replaces more than 250 OE sensors with only four sensor SKUs. The new option of a rubber snap-in sensor further strengthens the TPMS service advantage provided by REDI-Sensor, while continuing to dramatically reduce the SKUs needed to service incoming customers. VDO REDI-Sensor works with all major TPMS scan tools and no training is required.
