FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — Fujikura Automotive America (FAA) LLC, a manufacturer of electrical wire harness systems and electronic components, announces its expansion of operations in Michigan. FAA moved its North American Automotive Headquarters from Novi, Mich., to Farmington Hills, Mich. The additional space provides engineering expansion along with sales and program management for customers as well as further growth opportunities to support additional engineering staff as growth dictates.

“Since 2007, FAA has grown at a compounded annual growth rate of approximately 18 percent per year,” said Daniel T. Alexander, vice president of sales and marketing for FAA. “Expanding operations will help us meet the demands of our growing customer base while enhancing engineering, research and development.”

The new facility provides a significantly larger operation as a center of excellence for engineering, sales and executive management serving the Americas automotive OEM and Tier customers. It also provides capability for vehicle and component engineering evaluations along with as-needed prototype support.

FAA will support its growing manufacturing footprint with assembly facilities throughout Mexico and Paraguay. For more information, visit http://www.fujikura.com/solutions/automotive.
