SUWANEE, Ga. — Rugged Ridge has announced the introduction of its new XHD Rock Sliders for the 2007-2016 Jeep Wrangler JK, designed to provide maximum protection for the Jeep’s most vulnerable points – the lower rocker panel and pinch seam.
The innovative one-piece design is precision manufactured from CNC-laser cut 3-mm steel plate and finished with a tough black textured coating. Each Rock Slider also features an integrated four-inch step to help making climbing in and out Jeeps easier, especially with lifted vehicles. The Rock Sliders are designed to function with most aftermarket and stock fender flares, the company says.
Easy to install, the XHD Rock Sliders give Jeep owners the option to mount them without drilling into the vehicle body, or for the ultimate in protection, secure using heavy duty rivnuts (drilling required). To protect your vehicle’s finish, rubber gaskets are utilized to cover and protect the paint and body panels along the door sill areas.
