Bosch Expands Aftermarket Product Lines With 24 New Part Numbers

Additions were made to the braking, engine management sensor, spark plug and rotating machines product lines.

BROADVIEW, Ill. – Robert Bosch LLC has announced the addition of 24 new SKUs in the month of May to its aftermarket product lineup. Additions were made to the braking, engine management sensor, spark plug and rotating machines product lines.

Bosch Blue Disc Brake Pads

One new SKU has been added to the Bosch Blue Disc Brake Pads product line, extending coverage for late-model Domestic vehicles. The additional part number covers more than 1.2 million units in operation in the U.S.

Bosch Blue Brake Pads feature OE-style, multi-layer shims that provide superior noise dampening characteristics. They’re designed to deliver quality and performance and are ideal for the shop owner who is a “generalist” and is looking to provide customers with the best value. Bosch Blue Brake Pads come towel-wrapped on select applications for added protection and value. The material used is similar to the shop towels that technicians use on a daily basis when working on their customers’ vehicles.

The new Bosch Blue Brake Pad set SKU is now available for various Ford models including the 2013-2015 Ford C-Max, 2013-2015 Ford Escape, 2012-2015 Ford Focus, and 2014-2015 Ford Transit Connect.

Engine Management Sensors

Bosch has announced the addition of three new high-pressure engine sensors, extending coverage for 983,000 late-model European vehicles in operation in the U.S. The new SKU numbers, which are now available, include two high-pressure GDI sensors and one high-pressure diesel sensor.

Bosch sensors are critical components for today’s engine management system, offering customers OE form, fit and function.

The new SKUs for high pressure GDI sensors offer coverage for models including the 2014-2015 BMW i8, 2011-2016 BMW X5, 2010-2015 Jaguar XKR, 2012-2013 Jaguar XKR-S, 2010-2015 Land Rover Range Rover, 2010-2013 Land Rover Range Rover Sport and more.

The new SKU for high-pressure diesel applications covers the 2014-2016 BMW 535d and 2014-2016 BMW 535d xDrive.

Spark Plugs

Manufacturing innovative, state-of-the-art spark plugs for over 112 years, Bosch continues to expand the product line, adding eight new SKUs in the month of May. The new product numbers, which are now available, include two iridium pin-to-pin plugs, two OE specialty fine wire iridium plugs, one OE fine wire double platinum plug, and two nickel-yttrium and copper core plugs. Through the addition of these new part numbers, coverage is extended to an additional 635,000 Domestic, Asian and European vehicles in operation in the U.S. Additionally, one part number was released to cover motorcycle and powersport applications.

The new OE specialty laser-welded iridium pin-to-pin spark plug SKUs cover vehicles including the 2012-2014 Mazda 3, L4 cyl. 2.0L, 2014-2016 Mazda CX-5, L4 cyl. 2.0L, 2014-2016 Mazda CX-5, L4 cyl. 2.5L (non-turbo), 2011-2015 Honda CR-Z, L4 cyl. 1.5L (LEA1) and more.

New OE specialty laser-welded iridium spark plug SKUs cover vehicles including the 2011-2014 Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG, V12 cyl. 6.0L turbo, 2015-2016 Mercedes-Benz S600, V12 cyl. 6.0L, turbo, 2015-2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, V8 cyl. 6.2L supercharged and more.

A new OE specialty laser-welded double platinum spark plug covers models including the 2015-2016 Audi A3, L4 cyl. 1.8L TFSI (CNSB), and L4 cyl. 2.0L TFSI (CNTC).

Two new OE specialty nickel-yttrium/copper-core part numbers extend coverage for models including the 2012-2013 Fiat 500, L4 cyl. 1.4L (EAB), late-model Harley-Davidson models with 12 mm spark plug, and 2011 Kia Soul, L4 cyl. 1.6L.

Rotating Machines

The Bosch Rotating Machines group has added 12 new SKUs for new and remanufactured alternators and starters, covering late-model Domestic, Asian and European vehicles. The new part numbers extend coverage to 3.8 million vehicles in operation in the U.S.

One new alternator added in the month of May covers vehicles including 2010-2011 Hyundai Accent L4 cyl. 1.6L, 2010-2011 Kia Rio L4 cyl. 1.6L, 2012 Kia Rio L4 cyl. 1.6L, and 2010-2011 Kia Rio5 L4 cyl. 1.6L. Six remanufactured alternators have also been added, extending coverage to vehicles including the 2009 Ford F-150 V8 cyl. 4.6L, 2011-2013 Hyundai Tucson L4 cyl. 2.0L, 2011-2013 Kia Sportage L4 cyl. 2.4L, 2011 Dodge Nitro V6 cyl. 3.7L, 2013-2015 Dodge Dart L4 cyl. 1.4L, 2010-2011 Cadillac SRX V6 cyl. 2.8L and more.

Five new SKUs for remanufactured starters are now available for models including the 2012-2014 Buick Enclave V6 cyl. 3.6L, 2012-2014 Cadillac XTS V6 cyl. 3.6L, 2012 Chevrolet Captiva Sport V6 cyl. 3.0L, 2013-2014 Nissan Altima L4 cyl. 2.5L, 2008-2014 Smart Fortwo L3 cyl. 1.0L, 2015 Nissan Pathfinder V6 cyl. 3.5L, 2013-2015 Audi A6 and A7 Quattro V6 cyl. 3.0L supercharged with start/stop technology.
