Automotive Content Professionals Network Announces Scholarship Winners For 2018

The judges selected three exceptional candidates who demonstrated success within their organizations through professionalism, hard work, dedication and their remarkable abilities and talents, the organization said.

The Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN), a community of the Auto Care Association, announced the winners of the 2018 ACPN scholarship. The judges selected three exceptional candidates who demonstrated success within their organizations through professionalism, hard work, dedication and their remarkable abilities and talents.

Each year, the ACPN awards three deserving content professionals in the auto care industry with a scholarship to attend the 2018 ACPN Knowledge Exchange conference, the largest gathering of catalog professionals and their vendors and solution providers. The Knowledge Exchange conference provides content professionals with a focused and unique opportunity to learn, share best practices, network with peers and interact with service providers in the content management space.

The winners of the 2018 ACPN scholarship are:

  • Ellen Martin, Advance Auto Parts
  • Jerry Carnline, Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance
  • Christian Hernandez, AutoZone

Each winner’s scholarship covers the conference entrance fee and lodging expenses. The winners attending the conference will have the opportunity to learn how to develop more accurate catalogs, gain insights on more efficient production processes and become aware of new technology and techniques.

“We are pleased to provide this opportunity each year to content professionals with the ultimate goal of helping them improve their skills to sell more products, reduce costs and increase efficiencies for their vendors, customers and solution providers,” said Jason Riegel, ACP, AAP, senior product content manager, Tenneco Global Aftermarket and chairman, ACPN. “We were pleased to receive a significant number of requests from many highly-qualified applicants for this year’s program and we sincerely thank all applicants. We hope the interest and participation will persist for 2019.”
