Automotive Distribution Network Inks Strategic Pact with Federal-Mogul Motorparts

The Network aims to capitalize on the strong name recognition of brands such as Wagner, Champion and Fel-Pro.

The Automotive Distribution Network said it has named Federal-Mogul Motorparts a strategic partner across all available product categories.

The Network cited Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ “unparalleled portfolio of brands that are instantly recognizable to customers around the world.”

The Network’s shareholders and members plan to leverage the name recognition of Champion spark plugs, Wagner brakes, ANCO wiper blades, Fel-Pro engine products, MOOG chassis components and other brands to grow their businesses.

“This new relationship enables the Network’s growing membership to maximize sales and marketing opportunities with the manufacturer across the board, while offering a greater array of premium-branded auto parts to expanding markets throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Guatemala,” said David Prater, president of the Network. “Additionally, the Network is better-positioned to take advantage of Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ successful Garage Gurus ‘Tech First’ training initiative, providing technicians with the latest tools and information so that they can keep pace with emerging vehicle technologies, onsite, online and on-demand.”

The Network’s partnership with Federal-Mogul Motorparts also ratchets up the program group’s ability to provide products that use “differentiated technologies to improve overall consumer satisfaction and driver safety,” said Jeff Hobson, the Network’s vice president of product.

“This powerful partnership opens several doors for the Network’s members to build upon the excellent reputation of Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ brands with the end user,” Hobson said. “The Network’s customers appreciate the superior quality of Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ premium-branded products, which are synonymous with quality, safety and performance.”

The Automotive Distribution Network operates under the brands of Parts Plus, Parts Plus Mexico, IAPA and Auto Pride. For more information, contact Steve Tucker at [email protected] or (901) 682-9090.
