Automotive Distribution Network Signs 10th Parts Plus Mexico Member

“Racing Autopartes lives up its name, as it’s a thriving company on the move, with 25 locations in the state of Coahuila,” said David Prater, Network president.

The Automotive Distribution Network recently welcomed its 10th Parts Plus Mexico member into the group with the signing of Racing Autopartes, based in Piedras Negras, Coahuila.

“Racing Autopartes lives up its name, as it’s a thriving company on the move, with 25 locations in the state of Coahuila,” said David Prater, Network president. “Currently importing about 30 percent of their total purchases, Racing Autopartes joined the Parts Plus Mexico program looking to expand that number with the assistance of the Network’s strategic vendor partners, including Federal-Mogul, Tenneco and more. I’m confident this growing company will earn even greater success under the Parts Plus Mexico banner.”

Led by president and CEO Armando Sanchez Ibarra, Racing Autopartes has continually expanded in the region’s vibrant marketplace with its main warehouse and 12 company-owned locations in Piedras Negras, as well as five company stores in Acuña, three in Manantiales, two in Monclova and one each in Region Carbonifera and Saltillo.

In addition to top name-brand parts that bolster its retail efforts, Racing Autopartes also offers repair service and towing at several locations, making the company the main automotive player in each town in which it conducts business in Coahuila. Overall, the company enjoys a 50/50 split of retail and wholesale business in the area.

The Automotive Distribution Network operates under the brands of Parts Plus, Parts Plus Mexico, IAPA and Auto Pride.
