Tenneco has expanded its Monroe Quick-Strut line of premium replacement strut assemblies by adding 39 part numbers covering an additional 2.3 million vehicles in operation.

The new part numbers are engineered to restore like-new control, comfort and handling in 71 import and two domestic applications, according to the company.

Tenneco’s family of Monroe Quick-Strut assemblies comprises nearly 1,000 part numbers designed to provide automotive service professionals with all the components required for a complete strut replacement in a single unit. In 2018 alone, Tenneco has introduced 286 new parts to the line – just 10 fewer than the record 296 it introduced last year.

“Monroe Quick-Strut assemblies have quickly become the go-to replacement assembly for busy automotive service professionals,” said Adam Richardson, senior product manager, Tenneco North America Aftermarket. “Tenneco’s aggressive expansion of the Quick-Strut product line is reflective of the growing popularity of these quality- and performance-tested assemblies among our customers.”

Assembled at Tenneco’s North America Aftermarket ride-control facility in Paragould, Arkansas, Monroe Quick-Strut assemblies are fully application-tested to ensure OE-like performance, according to the company. The latest range expansion includes coverage for the following vehicle models:

  • 2013-2015 Honda Accord (rear)
  • 2013-2017 Honda Accord (front)
  • 2006-2011 Honda Civic (front)
  • 2001-2002 Kia Rio (front)
  • 1999-2003 Mitsubishi Galant (rear)

Tenneco also expanded other premium product offerings, including Monroe OESpectrum shocks and struts covering nearly 2 million foreign and domestic vehicles operating in North America. OESpectrum rear shock absorbers now are available for 2012-2017 Chevrolet Sonic and 2016-2018 Honda Civic models. In addition, OESpectrum front struts now are available for 2016-2017 Chevrolet Cruze, 2012-2014 Hyundai Sonata and 2012-2015 Kia Optima applications.

Also available are five new Monroe Roadmatic value-driven strut assemblies covering 64 Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Mercury, Nissan and Pontiac applications; one new Monroe conversion kit covering 24 Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC applications; and one new Monroe Max-Lift lift supports for 1994-1997 Volvo 850 models.
