APC Adds Commercial-Vehicle Parts, Expands Application Coverage

The portfolio features a wide range of high-quality manufactured components from APC’s DuraFit (aftertreatment), AP Emissions (exhaust and emissions) and Centric Parts (brake systems) brands.

APC Automotive Technologies is continuing to expand its fast-growing portfolio of replacement parts for light-, medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles, the company said.

APC, which launched its Commercial Vehicle Program in early 2018, offers a comprehensive selection of exhaust, aftertreatment and brake replacement parts for all classes of commercial vehicles, including specialty segments (bus/transit, waste/recycling, law enforcement/public service and more).

The portfolio features a wide range of high-quality manufactured components from APC’s DuraFit (aftertreatment), AP Emissions (exhaust and emissions) and Centric Parts (brake systems) brands, according to the company.

“The overall product mix and coverage we can deliver as a convenient, single source for heavy-duty and commercial-vehicle applications gives us an enviable opportunity to help our independent operators and fleet customers manage a more profitable and productive operation with reliable equipment that stays on the road longer,” said Andy McIntosh, president of AP Emissions Technologies. “Our vertically integrated position also ensures our customers are buying built-in quality and long-term reliability for their capital equipment from the onset.”

APC’s commercial-vehicle portfolio incorporates products from three of its under-truck parts brands:

  • AP Emissions – A complete line of medium- and heavy-duty exhaust and emissions-control replacement parts.
  • DuraFit – Full-line supplier of EPA-certified, exact-fit, OEM-equivalent heavy-duty replacement diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and diesel oxidation catalysts (DOCs). This includes a fully integrated custom coated catalyst operation in Hobart, Indiana.
  • Centric Parts – Manufacturer and supplier of aftermarket brake-system components, which recently launched a comprehensive lineup of replacement air-disc-brake pads, rotors and repair kits for all makes of Class 7 and 8 commercial vehicles.

“Our AP, DuraFit and Centric brands have built an incredible track record of excellence in product quality and customer service that carries through to every heavy-duty exhaust, aftertreatment and brake-replacement part we sell,” said Don Orrell, who recently was appointed director of heavy-duty sales for the group. “As a fully integrated manufacturer, we build and test all of our components to the most stringent standards so we can exceed our customers’ expectations for trouble-free installation, reliability and extended service life.

“It’s not just about providing leading coverage, although that is of course critical to meeting the needs of our customers. It’s about bringing added value to their operation and/or fleet. Less time on the lift means increased uptime for these capital-intensive vehicles to do their intended job, which is the single most important measurement for an operator/owner.”

APC Automotive Technologies will be displaying its portfolio in booth No. 1405 at the 2019 Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week trade show in Las Vegas.
