Federated, Fisher Auto Parts Establish Memorial Fund to Honor Frank Berrodin

Federated and Fisher each have made a donation to the University of the Aftermarket Foundation in Berrodin’s memory to fund industry educational initiatives, including the newly established Frank Berrodin Memorial Scholarship that will be awarded to a deserving student pursuing a career in the automotive aftermarket.

Federated Auto Parts and Fisher Auto Parts have established a memorial fund to honor the late Francis “Frank” Berrodin, the former chairman of Berrodin Parts Warehouse, who passed away on April 24 at the age of 92.

“We mourn the loss of Frank Berrodin and extend our condolences to the entire Berrodin family,” said Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts. “Berrodin Parts Warehouse has been an important part of the Federated family for many years, so it is only appropriate that we recognize Frank’s contribution to the success of Federated and honor his lasting legacy.”

After serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, Berrodin joined the family business in 1948. Throughout his career at Berrodin Parts Warehouse, he served in a variety of roles, including many years as chairman of the board. A father of five, including son John, president of Berrodin Parts Warehouse, Berrodin also was the grandfather of 19 and great-grandfather of 26.

Founded in 1905 as Berrodin Auto Supply Co., Berrodin Parts Warehouse is headquartered in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. The longtime Federated member is a family-owned and family-operated business that has grown from one store in Philadelphia to an eight-warehouse, 300-employee operation.
