Federated Celebrates 25 Years

Headquartered in Staunton, Va., Federated Auto Parts was founded in 1985 by the late Art Fisher and Rusty Bishop who currently serves as its CEO.

STAUNTON, Va. — Federated Auto Parts kicked off its 25th anniversary celebration April 16 at the start of its annual meeting where a special Federated 25th anniversary logo was unveiled.

Headquartered in Staunton, Va., Federated Auto Parts was founded in 1985 by the late Art Fisher and Rusty Bishop who currently serves as its CEO.

“The main reason Federated has thrived over the past 25 years is because of the support and commitment of our members. Without them, there would be no Federated,” said Bishop. “Our annual meeting is a great time to gather with colleagues and meet with supplier partners. It is also a time to take a moment and celebrate the success of the past year and the past 25 years.”

The Federated annual meeting began April 15 in Phoenix, Ariz., and ran through April 17. In addition to presentations from select Federated supplier partners, Federated members had the opportunity to meet one-on-one with manufacturers. Each year an awards dinner is held to recognize members and suppliers who have demonstrated outstanding performance in the past year.

“We want to thank all of our members, as well as our manufacturing partners, who took time out of their busy schedules to come to Phoenix for a few days and work together to make the coming year successful for everyone,” Bishop said.
