The remaining two annual scholarships help cover expenses for recipients to attend the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) Oct. 16-18 in Las Vegas. These scholarships are the Tom B. Babcox Memorial Scholarship and the Zurich “High Octane” Scholarship.

The $1,000 Tom B. Babcox Memorial Scholarship was established by EXCEL, in conjunction with Babcox Media, and is awarded to an individual working for an ASA Mechanical Division member-business in good standing and who displays a desire to improve their business skills through management education.

The $1,000 Arrowhead Automotive Aftermarket “High Octane” Scholarship was established by EXCEL, in conjunction with Arrowhead’s Automotive Aftermarket Insurance Program.
