Automotive Parts Associates (APA) recently returned from its “2024 SunSplash” trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
From Jan. 19-23, more than 400 shop owners, service technicians, APA shareholders and suppliers enjoyed the warm weather and the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
SunSplash is an incentive program offered through Automotive Parts Associates. Shareholders inform APA of how many people they would like to bring and then offer these spots to their shop owners and service technicians as they see fit.
In addition to four nights and five days at the all-inclusive Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos, attendees could enjoy a wealth of excursions, including horseback riding, mountain biking, scuba diving. whale watching and more. On the final night there was a group dinner and a cash give-away party, during which 20 lucky winners took home $500 each.
“Our SunSplash trips are always extremely successful and 2024 was no exception,” said Steve Tucker, president of APA. “I must thank our supplier partners and shareholders, as we could not do this trip without them. I also want to thank our staff for their hard work, especially Jan Larson, our director of marketing.”
The next SunSplash trip is scheduled for 2026 in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
