Auto-Wares Acquires Parts Pro Automotive Warehouse In Ohio

Parts Pro is a wholesale distributor of OE and aftermarket auto parts serving the Cleveland/Akron area.

Auto-Wares Group of Companies announced that it is acquiring Parts Pro Automotive Warehouse in Wickliffe, Ohio.

Parts Pro Automotive, a member of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, has joined with Auto-Wares to expand overall inventory availability and offer a wider product selection to the existing customer base of professional installers, Auto-Wares said in a news release.

Parts Pro, a wholesale distributor of OE and aftermarket auto parts, joins Auto-Wares after nearly 40 years in business serving the Cleveland/Akron metropolitan area. With eight locations, 125 team members and a fleet of more than 100 vehicles, Parts Pro has built a strong business backed by quality customer service, exceptional parts professionals and powerful delivery network.

The Parts Pro culture mirrors many of the same traits that have led Auto-Wares to succeed in the automotive aftermarket, Auto-Wares noted.

“Our companies combined will add even more inventory lines and sales resources that will strengthen the parts network throughout the Parts Pro footprint,” said Mike McPhee, president of Parts Pro. “We will work together creatively to merge the best aspects of our operations with the end goal of being the best supplier to our commercial customers.”

“We are very excited to join forces with the Parts Pro team,” said Todd Leimenstoll, president and CEO of Auto-Wares. “We are honored and thankful that Mike and Laura McPhee have entrusted the next chapter of their business to Auto-Wares. We will be working together to merge the best aspects of these two successful family-owned companies with the overall goal of being our customers’ best supplier.”
