BROADVIEW, Ill. – Robert Bosch LLC, leading global supplier of automotive parts to original equipment manufacturers and the independent aftermarket, has announced the addition of five new SKUs for March 2015. The additions have been made to its QuietCast and Bosch Blue Brake Pad lines and Bosch Twin Wiper Blade sets.

Bosch QuietCast and Bosch Blue Brake Pads Bosch has added three new brake pad sets to its braking components portfolio – one to its QuietCast Brake Pad line and two SKUs to the Bosch Blue Brake Pad line – with hardware kits included for select applications.

Overall, the new part number releases extend Bosch coverage to additional later-model domestic, Asian and European vehicles. The new QuietCast Brake Pad part number comes with a hardware kit and covers more than 330,000 Mercedes-Benz applications, including: 2005-’14 Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG, 2013-’14 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, 2010-’12 Mercedes Benz GL 350, 2010-’11 Mercedes Benz ML 450 and more.

All Bosch premium QuietCast brake pads feature friction formulas specific to the application – semi-metallic, NAO or ceramic – and include synthetic lubricant in each package.

The two additions to the Bosch Blue Brake Pad line cover some 250,000 vehicles on the road. One SKU includes a hardware kit and fits applications that include: 2012 – 2014 Dodge Durango, 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL350, 2013-’14 Mercedes Benz GL 450 and 2012-’13 Mercedes Benz ML 350. A second SKU without hardware covers the 2014 Acura RLX. Bosch Blue Brake Pads come towel-wrapped for select applications providing added protection and value, according to Bosch. The material used is similar to the shop towels that technicians use on a daily basis while working on customers’ cars.

Wiper Blade Sets Bosch Wiper Systems has added two new Bosch Twin Wiper Blade sets to its portfolio, extending its late-model European vehicle coverage to an additional one million vehicles in operation in the U.S. Bosch Twin features a pre-assembled OE-style adapter for various connection types and provides OE-level fit and function as well as easy installation, the company says. A special coating on the rubber wiping element removes all traces of water to deliver smooth and easy operation and exceptional visibility in all weather conditions.

One of these new Bosch Twin Wiper Blade sets includes a 24-inch and a 21-inch blade and fits 2001-’03 Mercedes Benz C-Class; 2004-’05 Volkswagen Eurovan; 2001-’04 Volvo S60; 1999-2004 Volvo S80; 2001-2004 Volvo V70; 2003-2004 Volvo XC70 and 2003-2004 Volvo XC90. The other set contains two (2) 21-inch blades for the 1998-2009 Volkswagen Beetle.

“Bosch is committed to the continual expansion of its late-model vehicle coverage for the entire North American car parc – domestic, Asian and European. This enables us to deliver on the first component of our Parts, Bytes & Services concept for our customers,” said Thomas Winter, vice president, automotive aftermarket, Robert Bosch LLC.
