Bosch Adds New Part Numbers To Its Fuel Injector, Spark Plug And Wiper Blade Lines

Total coverage extends to 12 million vehicles in U.S. and Canada.

BROADVIEW, Ill. – Bosch has expanded its product offerings with several new part numbers added to its following product lines – fuel injectors, Iridium and OE (original equipment) specialty spark plugs and OE specialty Aerotwin wiper blade sets. Overall, these additions expand coverage to 12 million vehicles – domestic, European and Asian – with many of the part numbers being the same as OE.

Bosch has added 11 new part numbers to its line of gasoline fuel injectors. They cover 5 million new applications spanning model years 2003 to 2012 and include passenger cars, SUVs and trucks from makers such as Ford, General Motors and Nissan.

Robert Bosch, the company that introduced the first commercially viable spark plug in 1902 and pioneered major advancements in spark plug technology, has added 11 new spark plug part numbers with additional coverage for 5.9 million domestic, European and Asian vehicles. Included in these part numbers are three new OE Fine Wire Iridium spark plugs with two "pin-to-pin" applications, and eight new OE specialty spark plugs that match the fit, form and function of the OE design.

Six new Aerotwin sets specific to vehicles with specialty wiper systems have been added to the specialty wiper blade product line – usually a dealer only option. These new sets are for Audi, BMW and VW applications, including the 2011+VW Jetta and Passat.

“We stand firm in our commitment to providing our service dealer, jobber and warehouse distributor customers with the breadth of coverage they need to serve the growing vehicle population,” said Timo Reif, vice president of automotive marketing for Robert Bosch LLC. “To that end, Bosch will continue to add new part numbers to our various product lines to assure that our customers are always ready to provide motorists with the highest quality and most reliable parts for their vehicle.”
