Company adds 41 part numbers to braking, rotating electric and horn product lines.

BROADVIEW, Ill. – Robert Bosch LLC has announced the release of 41 new part numbers in its braking, rotating electric and horn product lines. These new part numbers cover close to 3 million additional vehicles on the road.

Bosch QuietCast Brake Pads and Bosch Blue Brake Pads
Bosch Braking Components group has added 10 new brake pad sets to its Bosch QuietCast and Bosch Blue Brake Pad lines. This expands coverage for many late-model Asian, domestic and European vehicles by 0.5 million units in operation.

Hardware kits are included with four of the new brake pad sets. Bosch QuietCast brake pad sets with hardware kits are available for 2013-’14 Honda Accord, 2011 Audi A8 Quattro, 2012 A6 Quattro and A7 Quattro. For these same vehicles, Bosch Blue Brake Pads are also available with hardware kits.

The Bosch premium QuietCast line features a pre-attached rubber core shim, mainly used by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). According to the company, this type of shim is offered exclusively by Bosch for the independent aftermarket. Bosch Blue Brake Pads are designed to deliver quality, performance and value to the ‘everyday’ driver, the company adds.

Bosch Rotating Electric
Five alternators and four starters have expanded the Bosch aftermarket offering in the rotating electric category. These products include new and remanufactured starters and alternators for late-model Asian, domestic and European vehicles. Designed to provide consistently powerful starting and charging performance in extreme heat and cold temperatures and other high demand situations, the new releases have broadened Bosch aftermarket coverage to include an additional 2.5 million vehicles.

New alternator releases include both new and remanufactured units for 2007-2010 Mini Cooper 4-cyl. 1.6L, as well as alternators for select late model Mini, Volkswagen, Dodge and Chrysler vehicles. As far as starters are concerned, remanufactured units have been released for vehicles such as 2010-2012 Mazda 3, 2011-’13 Chrysler 200 and Town & Country models, and a number of General Motors vehicles. Bosch new and remanufactured starters and alternators are designed to meet or exceed manufacturers’ specifications.

Bosch Horns
Celebrating the 100th year of the invention of the horn for automotive use, Bosch has released 22 new universal horns for the aftermarket, including disc horns, fanfare horns, compressor trumpets and compressor air trumpets. Bosch manufactures horns for motorcycles, passenger cars, light and heavy-duty trucks, and emergency vehicles and also includes a back-up warning signal.
