Bust Rust With New ACDelco Coated Rotors And Calipers

The expansion will add 54 new calipers and more than 200 rotor part numbers to the ACDelco brake catalog, the company says.

ACDelco Coated Rotor
GRAND BLANC, Mich. – ACDelco is expanding its lineup of coated rotors and calipers that protect brake systems against environmental elements like rain and snow, and corrosive liquid sprays used to maintain gravel roads.
The expansion will add 54 new calipers and more than 200 rotor part numbers to the ACDelco brake catalog.
“When our customers choose ACDelco, they are investing in premium product for their vehicle,” said Robert Sanford, general director, ACDelco. “This new technology will ensure their brakes look as good as they perform.”
Because coated ACDelco Advantage rotors feature COOL SHIELDTM technology, the rotors are protected on the edges and the vanes stay cleaner for longer periods of time for optimal cooling. This provides corrosion protection over the entire rotor, including the interior. The baked-on coating also provides durability for long-lasting rust protection compared to uncoated rotors.
ACDelco Professional calipers are quality tested using a rigorous salt spray procedure recommended by the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) to ensure they resist rust and corrosion.
The addition of these new products expands ACDelco’s all-makes selection, which delivers quality parts with superior performance for more than 90 percent of vehicles on the road today.
