Standard Motor Products Releases 197 New Part Numbers For BWD Automotive Engine Management Line

BWD added 110 new parts to its diesel category, including several new product categories and several line expansions.

NEW YORK, N.Y. — Standard Motor Products, Inc. (SMP) announces the addition of 197 new part numbers to its BWD engine management line, covering domestic and import vehicles.

The BWD line expansion features more than 60 million additional VIO with new key category coverage through the 2015 model year. BWD added 110 new parts to its diesel category, including several new product categories and several line expansions to existing categories such as diesel fuel injectors. In total, the diesel additions expand coverage by 20 million VIO.

The brand also introduced 35 new turbochargers for both diesel and gas applications. Other notable additions include 15 power door lock actuators, 29 switches, and several first-to-aftermarket parts, including a transmission control solenoid with more than 3 million VIO.
