COLMAR, Pa. — Dorman Products Inc. is launching its new stainless steel brake hydraulic line offering. This new program is designed to provide a superior aftermarket choice in brake line replacement while saving service technicians time with pre-formed application-specific replacement solutions, Dorman says.

Dorman’s stainless steel brake hydraulic line category will launch with coverage for today’s most popular full-size GM and Chevy trucks, in a variety of trim levels and year ranges, according to the company. Original brake lines are highly susceptible to both corrosion and undercarriage damage, leading to a nearly 100 percent brake line replacement rate in some areas of the country for these popular truck applications.

Among the benefits offered through Dorman’s new stainless steel brake hydraulic line  program:

  • Direct fit installation –Brake hydraulic lines that are pre-formed for specific applications, saving time by eliminating the need to bend, cut or flare replacement lines.
  • Dorman engineering – All of Dorman’s Brake Hydraulic Lines feature high-quality stainless steel construction. This upgraded material provides added resistance to corrosion, the most common cause of failure found with original brake lines.
  • Complete kit – Dorman’s brake hydraulic line kits provide a complete metal line replacement solution for the entire brake line system.
