Federated Car Care Center Scholarships To Be Awarded

Apply online at automotivescholarships.com by March 31.

BETHESDA, Md. — Fisher Auto Parts and the University of the Aftermarket Foundation will award 12 scholarships to the children or employees of Federated Car Care customers of any Federated Auto Parts member. To apply online by the March 31, 2017 deadline, eligible candidates should visit www.automotivescholarships.com and click on Federated.

The Federated Car Care scholarships are funded by Fisher Auto Parts in memory of the late Art Fisher, founder of Federated Auto Parts, and are administered by the University of the Aftermarket Foundation.

“The new Federated scholarships commemorate the legacy of Art Fisher, an industry icon with an unparalleled commitment to education,” said Tim Lee, MAAP, chairman of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. “On behalf of everyone at the University of the Aftermarket Foundation, we thank Fisher Auto Parts for its generous contribution. I’m sure Art would be very proud to know these funds will be used to help the sons, daughters and employees of Federated Car Care customers pursue continued education.”

Twelve scholarships, each with a value of $2,500, will be awarded to the employees or children of Federated Car Care Center members. To qualify, applicants must meet the criteria outlined in the Federated section of the foundation’s Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship Central website and must name Federated in the sponsor section of their completed application.

As an added bonus, each candidate’s completed scholarship application will be considered by every organization listed on www.automotivescholarships.com where the scholarship qualifications are met. Last year more than 50 students received multiple scholarships from their one application. The deadline for scholarship applications is March 31, 2017.
