AMSTERDAM — ReMaTec2015, the world’s largest international remanufacturing trade show has opened its online visitor registration for its eighth edition taking place in June. The show is widely recognized as the most important networking platform for the global remanufacturing industry, organizers say. Spread across two of the large exhibition halls, the show features 10,000 m2 of gross exhibition floor space and 225 exhibitors from all over the world. ReMaTec2015 will take place June 14-16, 2015, at Amsterdam RAI.

A growing show to represent a growing industry
The remanufacturing industry has experienced tremendous growth over the past years. Where the automotive industry in general has been severely hit by the crisis, the scope for remanufacturing has increased. With the general trend towards sustainability, remanufacturing’s role in the circular economy is growing. The Horizon 2020 framework, the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever, has identified remanufacturing as an important tool in cutting global energy consumption, waste and emissions.

As a cost-effective and high-quality alternative for new replacement parts, the industry sees an ever greater demand for remanufactured products. As such the automotive and heavy duty remanufacturing industry worldwide has been undergoing rapid growth, which is reflected on the ReMaTec show floor.

Many companies have decided to increase their presence on the show by creating larger stands and the number of exhibitors has increased by 20 percent compared to the previous edition. ReMaTec2015 will be welcoming many first-time exhibitors and with an exhibitor list representing over 20 different countries the show aims to form a true representation of the international industry.

New entrance policy
To facilitate the increased size and popularity of the show, the entrance policy to ReMaTec2015 has been updated. Visitors are encouraged to register early, and will be able to register for free tickets until June 5, 2015. Registration after this date will incur a fee. Visitors with an invitation from an exhibitor will still be able to register for free entrance at all times.

“Early registration is encouraged as it gives us a clear view of the show’s attendance and allows us to cater for this accordingly,” said show manager Niels Klarenbeek. “The online pre-registration also enables us to keep visitors informed on the latest news and developments and we use it as a channel to provide all the tools to help them get the most out of their visit.” More details on the new entrance policy can be found on the ReMaTec2015 website.
