MotoRad Wins Gold At Automotive Content Professionals Network Conference

The event is hosted by the Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN), a professional society of the Auto Care Association.

2015-16_WebCatGold_Award (1)CARMEL, Ill. — MotoRad, a global leader in automotive aftermarket thermostats and caps, earned top honors at the Knowledge Exchange Conference, the world’s largest gathering of automotive content professionals, vendors, and solutions partners. The event is hosted by the Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN), a professional society of the Auto Care Association. Member companies of ACA encompass every major product segment within the automotive aftermarket industry. The Knowledge Exchange Conference was held in New Orleans, Louisiana, May 15-18.

Highlighting the conference are the ACPN President’s Awards for Catalog Excellence. A President’s Award is the highest level of distinction bestowed by the organization. Awards are presented in recognition of the best representations of paper, web, and mobile catalog applications. Volunteer judges evaluated more than 60 entries against established criteria. Doreen Slayter, ACPN president, and director, content services, Advance Auto Parts, notes, “The awards ceremonies at the ACPN conference were an integral part of the conference celebrating years of work and an enterprise-wide devotion to quality and precision in publishing automotive content.” She adds, “Congratulations to all the 2016 content award winners.”

MotoRad received the 2015-2016 President’s Gold Award in the Web Catalog category for its online catalog. A significant feature of the MotoRad eCatalog is its integration within the brand’s domain-driven website, creating the ultimate user experience, with increased levels of customer engagement and user-friendliness. For example, the site contains VIN and license plate lookup tools that streamline the process of performing a parts search. By simply entering the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), or the vehicle license plate number, the busy automotive technician can efficiently find the part they need. Brandon Kight, MotoRad Director of Marketing & Program Development, reacts to news of the award, “The recognition from ACPN reinforces the MotoRad belief that our commitment to improved customer experience drives innovation. Our product and catalog teams work tirelessly to add new coverage and provide the most up-to-date application research and content for our products. We thank EXTEND PERFORMANCE for our catalog integration, which helped us bring home the gold.”
