New Elgin Pro-Stock Performance Catalog Highlights New Technologies, Expanded Coverage

Company to distribute free catalogs at next week's Performance Racing Industry show in Indianapolis.

Elgin Pro-Stock

ELGIN, Ill. — A comprehensive new catalog featuring the dramatically expanded Elgin PRO-STOCK line of performance components for street, racing, marine and other applications will be available at next week’s Performance Racing Industry trade show in Indianapolis. The catalog will be distributed at the Elgin Industries booth (No. 5032) in conjunction with the company’s 95th Anniversary celebration.

The Elgin PRO-STOCK line includes a wide range of premium performance engine components, including push rods, rocker arms, valves, valve springs, lifters, timing components, oil pumps, and more. Each of these parts, featuring the latest technologies and premium materials, is available through leading performance parts wholesalers and retailers throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Among the latest additions to the Elgin PRO-STOCK line are ultra-premium one-piece thick-wall performance push rods that provide up to 40 percent greater column strength and increased stiffness as compared to conventional, 0.080-in.-wall rods. These new push rods are designed and manufactured in Elgin Industries’ state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing facility in Elgin, Ill.

Also new to the PRO-STOCK line are premium stainless steel roller rocker arms for small- and big-block Chevrolet, Ford and Chrysler engines. Elgin also offers a full range of stock-appearing Elgin Nitro rocker arms featuring a long-slot design and advanced surface hardening that provides significantly increased resistance to wear. These exclusive rockers are ideally suited for applications with high valve spring pressure and which compete in classes/series requiring stock-appearing parts, the company says.

The Elgin PRO STOCK line also includes BLACK ICE super-cryogenic and tempered engine components that provide maximum attainable hardness, material and geometric stability/uniformity and wear resistance. PRO-STOCK parts available with BLACK ICE technology include camshafts, push rods, rocker arms, valve springs, valves, timing sets, rocker arm studs, and retainers.
