Roy Kent Takes On New Role At Federated Auto Parts

Most recently, Kent served as executive vice president – supplier relations with The Group.

As of July 1, Roy Kent will take on the new role of executive vice president – member support and business development for Federated Auto Parts.

Kent brings decades of experience and long-time industry relationships to the new role, having served in a variety of sales and management leadership positions at Everco, Moog, Cooper Industries and Federal-Mogul. Most recently, he served as executive vice president – supplier relations with the Automotive Parts Services Group (The Group), where he collaborated with members and vendors to identify mutually beneficial opportunities. 

“Roy has great experience and a solid track record of success throughout his career and he was instrumental in helping The Group establish strong supplier relationships over the past five years,” said Larry Pavey, CEO of The Group. “We appreciate the professionalism and dedication he brought to that assignment and wish him well in his new role.”

“Roy is uniquely qualified to help Federated increase focus on member needs and growth initiatives,” Federated President Sue Godschalk said. “We know he will bring exceptional insight and experience with members and suppliers, while also mentoring future leaders at Federated. We enjoyed working with Roy when he was with The Group and are extremely pleased to have him focus on member support and growth for Federated Auto Parts.”
