Three-Year Warranty Coverage On Standard, FLEX Reman Eaton Transmissions Now Available

Only linehaul applications were covered previously with the bundled program, which extends the basic two-year warranty of a standard Eaton Fuller Reman transmission or a FLEX Reman to three years with the combined purchase and installation of an Eaton Advantage Series clutch and Roadranger-approved lubricant.

GALESBURG, Mich. – Eaton Corp. has expanded its three-year bundled warranty program for remanufactured transmissions to now include all commercial truck vocations in the U.S. and Canada.

“Based on the initial success and excellent reception that we have been receiving from our linehaul customers, we decided to extend the industry’s best aftermarket warranty coverage to all applications,” said Bill Fouch, aftermarket marketing manager for Eaton’s transmission business. “We are also confident that the strength and reliability of our Advantage Series clutches and Roadranger-approved lubricants will give our transmissions the necessary protection that is needed in some of the most demanding vocational applications.”

Eaton Solo Advantage and Easy Pedal Advantage clutches feature extended 50,000-mile standard lubrication intervals for linehaul applications; premium patent-pending release bearings, and added protection against potentially harmful driveline vibrations. Eaton’s Solo Advantage is a self-adjusting clutch that reduces maintenance for more uptime and is ideally suited for trucks with hydraulic linkages, the company says. The Easy Pedal Advantage clutch requires manual adjustments but is designed for quick and easy maintenance.

Roadranger synthetic lubricants, including SAE 50 transmission fluid and SAE 75W-90 and SAE 80W 140 drivetrain fluids, feature high-quality raw materials and additives to offer superior heavy-duty truck performance.

In addition to the exclusive use of genuine OEM-quality parts, the company says all Eaton heavy-duty remanufactured transmissions have nearly 20 percent more new parts than most other remanufactured transmissions, and all units are performance-tested to ensure Eaton standards and specifications are met.

All Eaton products are backed by the Roadranger network, which includes more than 200 drivetrain professionals throughout North America. For more information visit www.eaton.com/roadranger.
