Timken TechTips Commercial Vehicles

NORTH CANTON, Ohio — The Timken Co. debuted more than a dozen new Commercial Vehicle TechTips last week at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week in Las Vegas.

As a technical leader in the commercial vehicle aftermarket, Timken launched TechTips to provide a global resource in this market sector. This free online resource offers proper bearing handling advice and maintenance topics for commercial vehicles. These tips, which cover more than a dozen topics in multiple languages, can help to minimize return rates, teach accepted maintenance practices and get the most out of Timken products. TechTips can be found exclusively at Timken.com/techtips.

Timken offers additional technical support services, through the Timken Tech Series, a free, online automotive training program that teaches valuable information about bearings, seals, wheel hub units, lubricants and more. Timken offers a specific track for commercial vehicle training.

Timken held a promotion from October through December 2014 for everyone who completed the Tech Series training sessions to be entered into a drawing to win a $500 gift card. Timken randomly selected these winners each month of the promotion. The winners are: Tamara Severson from Regina, Sakatchewan, Canada; Robert Houck from Sewell, N.J.; and Scott Bednarsk from North Ridgeville, Ohio.
