wix-filters-nanoproWIX Filters has introduced new NanoPro technology. Initially featured in 33 heavy-duty air filter part numbers, the technology provides higher initial efficiency than conventional cellulose filters and a final efficiency of up to 99.99 percent, the company says.

“WIX’s commitment to innovation and continued advancement made this project truly unique,” said Donald Chilton, director of product management for WIX Filters. “This technology took a lot of careful consideration, research and adjustment to achieve the desired end result. The outcome? The first in a series of exceptionally efficient products. We’re thrilled to introduce these air filters into the heavy duty market.”

The NanoPro green media is easily recognized and the filters come with metal or poly end caps. The filters are ideally suited for on and off-road applications, mines with fine or ultra-fine dust, harsh construction sites and agricultural environments.

WIX NanoPro heavy-duty air filters are coated in proprietary Nano fiber webbing that captures the smallest contaminates from the start. Additional NanoPro line advancements will be rolled out in the coming months. For more information on WIX, please visit wixfilters.com.
