LAS VEGAS – Robert Bosch LLC has introduced the all-new Clear Advantage Wiper Blade program. The new program reduces the SKU count from 19 in the previous program to 12 part numbers, while increasing the vehicle coverage to more than 98 percent. Blade lengths range from 13 to 28 inches.

“The new Clear Advantage Wiper Blade program combines a low inventory footprint with high vehicle coverage,” said Martin Kashnowski, director product management, wiper systems, Robert Bosch LLC, Automotive Aftermarket North America. “This offers automotive service and sales professionals an excellent opportunity for turning a profit without maintaining a large inventory.”

In addition to the reduced SKU count, the new Clear Advantage program now features the Click-On™ adapter system providing quick and easy installation. The Click-On adapter system covers all popular hook and pin connections as well as the increasing range of OE connections, including pinch tab, side lock, and the various top locks, including the new top lock narrow 16mm connection.

Features of the new Bosch Clear Advantage Wiper Blade include:

  • Patented beam design that resists ice and snow buildup
  • Graphite-treated, blended natural rubber wiping edge for a clean and
    quiet wipe
  • Aerodynamic wind spoiler to create a downward force which ensures a consistent wipe even at high speeds

“At Bosch, we understand what makes an excellent wiping system,” said Kashnowski. “The experience and knowledge we have acquired from OEM manufacturing is utilized in the design and manufacturing of every blade for the aftermarket. Bosch now offers wiper blades at competitive price levels and for practically every vehicle on the road,” he said.

In its more than 80 years of supplying electric wiper blade systems to vehicle manufacturers and the aftermarket, Bosch has made major contributions to the advancement of wiper blade technology − and continues to do so today with its complete beam wiper blade portfolio that also includes premium Bosch ICON with ClearMax 365 and Bosch Evolution™.
