READING, Pa. – EnerSys again is sponsoring driver Greg Adler’s ULTRA4 Racing and Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) vehicles this year.
EnerSys equips Adler’s vehicles with ODYSSEY batteries. Engineered with Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) technology and Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) construction, ODYSSEY batteries provide more cranking power and reserve power than conventional batteries, the company says.
As associate sponsor, the ODYSSEY battery logo is prominently displayed on the rear bedside on both of Adler’s ULTRA4 vehicles and on his LOORRS Pro 4 vehicle, on all team apparel and all team racing publicity materials.
“Our association with Greg Adler shows how well ODYSSEY batteries stand up to the rigors of off-road racing,” said Maria Orlando-Krick, marketing content and sponsorship manager at EnerSys. “It’s quite an honor for our batteries to be powering such a phenomenal team.”
ODYSSEY batteries feature a three- to 10-year service life and two-year storage life at 77 degrees Fahrenheit (25 degrees Celsius). They are vibration resistant, classified as “non-spillable” by the U.S. Department of Transportation and include a limited two- to four-year full replacement warranty.
“Our partnership with EnerSys has been a boost to our competitiveness as a team,” Adler said. “We’ve come to depend on ODYSSEY batteries to hold up to the extreme conditions our racing vehicles subject them to.”
