NEW YORK – KYB Americas Corp. was recently presented with two awards at Parts Authority’s Trade Show held at Citi Field in New York. KYB Northeast Territory Sales Manager Rob Africano was awarded the Outstanding Service Representative of the Year and KYB also was named a Parts Authority Partner of Excellence.

“I always like to tell my customers there is price, quality and service … pick two. Rarely can a supplier deliver all three. KYB’s quality, at their price point, coupled with the superb representation supplied by Rob Africano, allowed the triple play to occur,” said Parts Authority President and CEO Randy Buller. “We were very pleased to award KYB the Parts Authority Partner in Excellence Award, as well as Rob Africano the Parts Authority Representative of the Year. The 40-year partnership between KYB and Parts Authority makes us that much prouder.”

“We are honored to be recognized by Parts Authority for not only our partnership with their great organization, but the efforts of Rob Africano as well. Parts Authority is a valued customer and it’s great to see the results of our joint efforts,” commented KYB Vice President Mike Fiorito. “We also weren’t surprised Rob received an award for his commitment. He is a very talented and dedicated individual and we are proud of what Rob has accomplished for the KYB Team.”

Africano joined KYB Americas in June of 2006 covering sections of the Northeast that includes New York, Maryland and D.C. Since 2006, he has earned many individual company sales awards. Prior to KYB, Africano held manager roles at IBF, Beck/Arnley and Interco Parts Corp.
