LAS VEGAS — CUB Elecparts, a longtime TPMS sensor and programming tool manufacturer, is focused on gaining global market share by further developing innovative universal solutions, says Andy Tseng, the company’s TPMS director. CUB Elecparts exhibited at both AAPEX and SEMA this year.
“We will be focusing on gaining market share worldwide and developing new TPMS products in every aspect,” Tseng said. “We will be adding the newest OE technology on to our current OE replacement sensors. We also will be introducing TPMS for trailers, semi-trailers (18- to 22-wheelers) and a dash cam with integrated TPMS.”
“Currently, we offer the best universal sensor solution in the market worldwide,” according to Tseng. “With only 2 SKUs, we have 98 percent coverage of the vehicle on the road as of today. We also make both TPMS diagnosing tools and TPMS sensors. We of course have patents on all of our products.” Having fewer SKUs solves inventory problems for importers, distributors, wholesalers and tire shops that previous stocked many part numbers.
cub-elecparts-tpmsThe CUB PUR TPMS system uses a programming tool (Sensor-Aid) to program two sensor SKUs (Uni-Sensor: 315MHz & 433MHz) to cover 98 percent of OE car models, the company says. By using Sensor-Aid tool, the tire technician can select MMY (Make/Model/Year) to program the blank Uni-sensor.
CUB has been dedicated in the TPMS development since 2003, according to Tseng. “Our complete R&D team is focusing on testing and developing new vehicle protocols to keep up with the newest technology we have to offer. With decades of experience and innovative technology, we believe we are the leader of aftermarket TPMS.”
