LONG BEACH, Calif. – GB Remanufacturing Inc. received the prestigious Diamond Award from the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance.

The award was presented last month at the Alliance Shareholder’s Winter Meeting in Aventura, Fla.

The Diamond Award is presented to the channel partner that stands out amongst its competitors in every area; customer service, changeover support, marketing and sales assistance, and strong support from its sales representatives. The recipient excels in knowing their category and its needs. The award was based on customer service, product quality and sales support.

Michael Kitching, GB’s president & CEO and Russ Barker, GB’s director of sales and marketing, accepted the award on behalf of GB Remanufacturing Inc.

“We are honored to receive the inaugural Diamond Award from the Alliance. We have been supplying the GB gasoline and diesel fuel injection program to the Alliance Shareholders since 2006. We have worked very closely with the Alliance Parts Warehouse to bring incremental business in a category that previously was in a downward trend,” said Russ Barker.

Kitching added, “Over the last 10 years we have built a strong relationship with the Alliance and its members which has greatly benefited both organizations. We are honored to be recognized for our work by such an important member of the automotive aftermarket.”
