ACDelco Expands Lineup of Professional Five-Year Batteries

ACDelco is growing its portfolio of professional five-year batteries with 19 new part numbers, bringing the total number of offerings to 21.

GRAND BLANC, Mich. – ACDelco is growing its portfolio of professional five-year batteries with 19 new part numbers, bringing the total number of offerings to 21.

For batteries purchased after March 1, ACDelco Professional Five-Year Batteries provide a no-charge
warranty period of 20 months; the balance of the five years is pro-rated.

“ACDelco Professional Five-Year Batteries are competitively priced to allow distributors, dealers and installers to grow their battery sales while providing customers with a battery that offers one of the best free replacement periods in the industry,” said Nancy McLean, director, ACDelco and wholesale marketing.

ACDelco offers four lines of batteries to meet customers’ needs and budgets: the 60 Series; and the five-year, six-year and seven-year Professional Series. ACDelco also offers marine, powersports and heavy-duty batteries. Features of the ACDelco Professional Five-Year Battery include:

• Fusion weld – for high-integrity, low-porosity and corrosion reduction;

• Framed positive grid – optimized for conductivity and Powerframe technology providing vibration-resistance and superior cycling performance;

• Robust envelope separator – improves acid circulation, allowing the battery to remain cooler and extending battery life;

• High-purity calcium alloy increases cycling life, improves performance and minimizes gassing; and

• Negative paste formulation – extreme bond resists flaking to improve overall performance and extend battery life.

ACDelco Professional Batteries are 100-percent pressure-tested to help avoid leaks, as well as to ensure strength and rigidity. They also are 100-percent electrical short tested.
