ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Affinia Group has announced the relocation and expansion of its West Coast Global Brake & Chassis Distribution Center.  

Distribution services that had been located in a 150,000-square-foot facility in Modesto, Calif., have been moved to a new 390,000-square-foot facility in Patterson, Calif., to accommodate increasing growth in the western United States and Canada, as well as new and expanded product offerings, Affinia says.

“This new facility will ensure that Affinia’s customers in these important markets will continue to receive fast, reliable and convenient access to our growing product lines,” said H. David Overbeeke, president of Affinia Global Brake & Chassis. “An essential element of our World Smart business model is to assure that our facilities are strategically located for responsive customer service; this new center represents yet another element in our ongoing optimization program.”
